Pistachios can be considered a healthy snack for many reasons. First, they come in a shell, so you have to shell them while you eat them and it tends to slow you down. But in addition to that, they’re actually filled with lots of vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients that are being found to be effective against many types of chronic diseases like cancer and heart disease. And so pistachios, when you compare them to many of the normal snack foods that you’d grab off the shelf, have many advantages.
